Download PanGu iOS 9.1 Jailbreak for MAC and Windows
The PanGu team has recently surprised us all by releasing a Jailbreak for iOS 9.1, making it the first ever Jailbreak for Apple’s iPad Pro that was launched in October.
As per the PanGu Website, the Untethered iOS 9.1 Jailbreak works only on 64-bit devices such as:
- 1. iPhone 6s plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 plus, iPhone 6,iPhone 5s
- 2. iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro.
- 3. It also supports to iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2.
Hence it does not work with the following iOS devices for now-
- iPhone 5, iPhone 5c
- iPod Touch 5G
- iPad mini, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4
- iOS 9.1, iOS 9, iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.2.1

What is PanGu?
It is a free untethered jailbreak tool.
- You will need a Mac or Windows PC to use and Download PanGu Jailbreak.
- Use iCloud or iTunes to back up any or all personal information that you need to keep safe. The jailbreak generally works in most of the cases, but on the off chance, if something goes wrong, it’s better to have an escape plan.
- D93isable any Anti-virus Programs or firewalls that could prevent our tool from connecting to the internet.
iOS 9.1 Jailbreak Guide
Here a short step-by-step guide on how to use the PanGu iOS 9.1 Jailbreak tool for any of your iOS devices:
Download the latest version of PanGu Jailbreak for Mac or Windows from our Download link given above.
Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer using the USB cable.
Take a backup of your device using the latest version of iTunes. After having backed up, close iTunes. Also, close Xcode if you have got it open.
Disable Passcode from Settings> touch Id and Passcode, turn off Find my iPhone from Settings> iCloud> Find my iPhone and enable Airplane Mode.
Launch PanGu Jailbreak you have had downloaded in the first step.
At this step, if Mac Users get an error message showing ” PanGu can’t be opened because of it I from an unidentified Developer.” Then Right-click on the tool icon and click on Open in Menu Options, then click on the Open Button.
For Windows users, Please Launch the PanGu Application that you had downloaded in step 1 as an administrator. Right Click on the PanGu .exe and “Run as Administrator” Option.
PanGu will take some time to detect your device. Once that is done, click on the Blue Start Button. Click on the Already Back Up Button to proceed the Jailbreak. At around 55% it will reboot your device. At about 65% it will prompt you to Unlock your Device, and enable Airplane Mode Again.
At around 75 %, the tool will prompt you to Unlock your Device and Run the App. Launch the PanGu App from Home screen. If you cannot Find it, Try searching your Device for “PanGu”. It also installs the WWDC app but you can ignore it. The PanGu and WWDC apps will be automatically deleted from your device once it is Jailbroken.
Now, it will prompt you to Tap on the Accept button on your iOS device, to give access to Photos App. Then tap on Allow on the popup that will allow the app to have access to your photos.
Wait for the progress bar to complete, your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch will reboot.
Once the process is completed, the tool will tell you that your device is ‘Already Jailbroken’. You should see the Cydia Icon on the last page of your home screen on your device.
Now disable the Airplane Mode before launching Cydia. Cydia will take some time”preparing filesystem” when you launch it for the first time.
